Capacity Building Training Programme for Teachers of Higher Education Institutions.

The PM-USHA Project Monitoring Unit, in collaboration with BKNMU, Junagadh, organized a comprehensive Training Programme on Capacity Building for Teachers of Higher Education Institutions. The event was attended by all faculty and staff affiliated with BKNMU. The program commenced with inspiring speeches from esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. (Dr.) Pratapsingh Chauhan, Honorable Vice Chancellor of BKNMU; Shri Savijbhai Menpara, President of Patel Kelavani Mandal; Dr. Dinesh Dadhaniya, Director of PKM; Dr. Chetan Trivedi, former Vice Chancellor of BKNMU; and Prof. (Dr.) Jaysingh Zala, Coordinator, NEP 2020. Additionally, Dr. Parag Devani, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Work, BKNMU, hosted the event. Following the inaugural session, Dr. Dilip Barad, Professor and Head of the Department of English at Maharaja Krishnakumarisinhji Bhavnagar University, delivered an insightful presentation on "Tech-Savvy Enhancing Pedagogical Capacities in Teachers of Higher Education Institutions," offering valuable perspectives on integrating technology into teaching practices. After a short lunch break, participants engaged in two more informative sessions. Dr. Firoz Shaikh, Professor and Head of the Department of English at BKNMU, conducted a session on "Understanding SOP for Internship," addressing various queries and providing essential information regarding internship procedures. The event concluded with feedback from two participants and a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Naval Kapuriya, Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry and Forensic Science at BKNMU. The session ended on a positive note with the distribution of certificates to all participants, recognizing their active involvement and commitment to professional development in higher education.
